Transparent Packaging

The Internet has brought amazing advances in the world of sales. Even the Wizard of Oz would find himself far behind many of the marketers in business today. Lights, smoke, magic, and up-sells have become a mainstay of the modern marketer. Pop ups, fly ins, and live chat operators ready to give you a better deal fill almost every opportunity website today. If we are lucky enough to survive the initial barrage of crap more will be on the way in a series of e-mails promising greater savings with the next level of commitment. There is a fine line between using these methods tastefully and abusing them. Unfortunately 90% of the time with money making programs they are abused.

When plastic was introduced to the world of packaging it brought about a sense of trust having the product displayed in a transparent package. Product visibility gives the consumer a greater degree of trust in what they are buying, and with the proper marketing increases sales dramatically. Many systems today use a form of transparency in their marketing in the form of trial downloads or a free membership. I personally love the trial downloads such as software because you can actually take it for a test drive to decide if you like it. The trial download is a form of trust building transparency. These trial downloads can exist with digital products as well where the use is limited to hours instead of days.

Opportunity programs everywhere are using transparency as camouflage for a failed system. The opportunity programs all have one thing in common and that is enlisting distributors. The free account and back office in no way prepare you for the 97% failure rate these businesses have. Most of the time you will pay a monthly fee for some marketing system to promote someone’s utopian economic plan of you show they show then you are rich. My recommendation would be to stay as far away from these get rich schemes as possible, and look for transparent opportunities that produce real results.

Develop a passion for producing value for the customer and you will ensure the longevity of your business. Building a business of credibility takes longer to develop but in the end it will have the stay power the others lack. Real products stand the test of time and are not reliant on the trickery used by unethical marketers today. As we move into these uncertain economic times when people are losing everything the way we do business must change. It really isn’t about lifestyle any longer, it is about survival economically and ecologically as well. We all need to become transparent people with a common goal of bringing value to our planet and fellow man. It is time to become very transparent with our intentions and recycle our world.

In conclusion I would ask anyone one quesrion. Do you like value for your efforts? Even the shiftiest marketer will answer yes to that question because even the crooks like to get a good deal. This one question proves there is an underlying need for all people to want a fair exchange. It is my contention that giving that fair exchange is the right thing to do.

Conservation Marketing

Times are tough, somewhat like the Great Depression. Still, we must all have hope and realize people still survived during those troubling times and some even got rich. Necessity has always been the mother of invention and uncertain times call for extraordinary creativity. These are times when staying inside the box will kill your business.

Restructuring our mentality for growth has many facets, requires persistence, and brings about lasting change for the better. Conservation is of the utmost importance today while our ecological and economic worlds are in peril. The human race simply cannot afford the luxury of wanton disregard for both.

Conservation is the cutting edge of opportunity no matter the field it is what the world needs. The call to action has never been more clear for creative people to rise up and solve problems rather than adding to them. Where does that leave the get rich quick scammers? They should be running for cover because their day in the sun is up, it is time for the new breed of Internet Marketers to take control. It is time to let value, economy, and integrity rule the face of online marketing instead of up sell escalator routine we are so familiar with. Let’s face it does anybody really like all the browser controlling pop up, fly in garbage we are being fed? No, only a fool would like to be manipulated in such a way.

I have a rule of thumb I go by when shopping for anything:

1 If I can’t afford the price I won’t but it.
2 If I don’t like the price I won’t buy it.
3 If the quality is low I won’t buy it.
4 If I don’t like the presentation I won’t buy it.
5 If it seems to good to be true I won’t buy it.
6 If it is an up sell before I have even purchased chances are I won’t by it.

My rules are simple. I like to be treated fairly and in exchange I am willing to pay a fair price for almost anything. I admire straight shooting with a lack of theatrics to get into my wallet.

The entitlement mentality is still running rampant in our societies today. Getting paid what you are worth has taken on some fairly obviously erroneous forms, after all who is worth a five or six figure income who has not put out some effort for it? Nobody, and people usually learn the hard way that getting rich overnight is a pipe dream.

Design your business and your life around conservation, commitment, and courage. Tough times require fortitude and especially in marketing. There are no easy meals in the marketing house you must work for your food. Roll up your sleeves and learn to earn with Internet Marketing.

Learn Internet Marketing Today

The times we live in are definitely remarkable.  Technology is making the world an easier place and also a more confusing place to live.  Internet Marketing is the pinnacle of confusion for the unsuspecting soul.

All to often people will become involved with a money making program only to find out it was a scam.  Internet Marketing is not a scam but the vehicle that most businesses are using to promote and communicate with to the customer.  The possibilities with Internet Marketing are simply tremendous where any program can touch millions within minutes if properly applied.

It is very easy to see why Internet Marketing and anything associated with it are great skills to add to your knowledge base.  However, there is a huge difference between real internet marketing and the kind some of the opportunity programs teach.  There are many ways to tell the difference and here are a few to help:

•    Never trust a site that is promising large amounts of return on your investment overnight.
•    Never fall into the use other peoples money to fund your venture.  (Buying with credit is one of the worst mistakes you can make.  Fund your venture as you are able and set realistic goals.)
•    Remember even a great money making program requires traffic to the site.  (This traffic does not come on its own it must be driven to the site.  Driving traffic takes money or time and sometimes both.)
•    Web development is very technical and requires absolute accuracy or something is not going to work right.
•    Internet Marketing at its best brings all  the online elements together such as sales copy, web design, seo, multimedia, and social networking to name a few.

Internet Marketing is like any other skill it is learned through a series of experiences, and some that are complete failures.  The key to learning this fascinating and ever changing trade is to keep trying.  Specialization in Internet Marketing is also a key to success so consider picking a more targeted approach to what it is you will do.  If you like writing then focus on writing great sales copy. If you like web design buy great tools and build beautiful web applications.  The key is to pick an area and get started.   I can assure you that something’s are better to outsource.

So where does this leave the person who is looking to break into the Internet Marketing scene?  It leaves that person the same place as anyone else, just starting.  When starting anything a teacher or mentor is the fastest and most effective way to learn anything.  Seek out a mentor who is interested in more than your money.  A true mentor is one who builds a real and lasting relationship with the student not one who takes the money and runs.  Be prepared to pay for the knowledge you seek but be prepared to receive as well.

The Power of Urgency

The sense of urgency is the supreme motivator for anyone wanting to get something done. You can consider urgency a tool, you can use it to promote something for sale, or put the fire to a project to get something finished. Whatever the case, urgency is a secret weapon of all successful people.

It is almost through a sort of hysteria produced by an induced sense of urgency that immediate emotional action takes place. Immediate emotional reaction is the jet fuel driving sales and performance. If a person can believe that there is always tomorrow then procrastination gets an ugly grip on the situation. Never settle for tomorrow do what you can today.

We are emotional beings and everything we do is somehow connected to how we feel about it. If the emotions are strong then great force is applied in the desired direction, where conversely weak emotions will produce little force. If we feel a deep sense of urgency, our emotions are high which causes some forceful action. It is only through this action we make progress.

Now how does this apply to sales? It is quite simple really urgency emotionally charges the buyers judgment. Once you have been able to connect on an emotional level with the buyer you have won the sale. This is a key fundamental in all sales. So whether the connection is one of love or of necessity it had better be emotionally charged.

So you have got the customer to buy from you, what now? Surely you have them on your list, and now is the time to work those emotions for all they are worth. You are trying to sell your products right? Not only do you want the customer to love your products, you need them to accept you as an authority. Should you be able to connect with your customer in this way back end sales should be a breeze.

After the first instance of urgency with your customer you have to do more priming of the pump. Remember if you push to hard right away you may lose them. Selling somebody something immediately after a purchase is many times the biggest turn off the consumer can face so tell the truth from the beginning about your product and what to expect from you. It is very disappointing to buy something, only to be redirected to a secondary landing page where you are immediately up sold. Think about how you would feel in the shoes of the customer. You just bought a car and now the salesman is trying to sell you tires.

Developing the sense of urgency in the customer is not as simple as many would like it to be. You must get inside of their mind before they even see your page. Once you are in their shoes you have to decide what are the key motivators to give them the sense of urgency to influence them to buy your product. To do this you must have a sense of urgency to sell your product, without this emotional connection to your business your results will be minimal.

I leave you with a reason to seek urgency within. If you can find it within yourself you will have a far greater chance of bringing it out of your customer. Look inside at what causes you to become emotionally charged about the purchase of a product like the one you are selling. Your inner giant will give you all the answers you are looking for.

The need for urgency in life is unparalleled it is the single greatest force behind all success.

Internet Marketing

Today is the day of the entrepreneur. Never before has there has there been a time like today for the business man. The playing field is extremely open for anyone with a will to succeed.

Opportunities are flooding the net with an ever increasing tempo. There seems to be no end to the selection. Are they all for real? No way! You have to be very shrewd when shopping in this market the sharks are every where.

How can you select from all of the choices? This question has a lot to do with what your passions are. Look beyond the proposed commissions and the promised training. Look at the products you will be moving. If they are of value, and people will be needing them, then these are the type of products you should embrace.

If you cannot find products to sell you can believe in, you might have to make your own. Believe it or not you can.

No matter what you decide to market you will need to learn how to get it in front of your customers. Once you have your product in front of your customer you will need to capture them so they feel compelled to buy. These are the key elements of Internet Marketing.
