Being Green

Today is the day to be green. We are not faced with the simple task of taking care of our world, but of saving it. The least anyone can do is to change their thinking on everyday tasks and habits to help give the planet a fighting chance to withstand the human effect.

How many people would dump a load of garbage on their floor at home? How many people would pour gasoline into their well water? How many people would park their car in the garage running? Sad but true we all are guilty of this on some level.

Anytime we do that which negatively affects the environment, we might as well be doing so within our own home. The Earth is a closed system, which means everything we do is inherently trapped here with us. Think about it!

Most species will populate until they die off from their own waste. The lack of population control seems to run rampant throughout all life if left unchecked. We as humans not only have a runaway population but our effects on the planet per individual are tremendous.

I believe we have the capacity to not just save the planet we actually make it a better place. Technology does not have to be a death sentence for us but the launching pad for our greatest moments.

Believe in the power of today and start the change in your own world. We must work together to clean things up. We must work alone to make it a reality. Today is the day for change, today is the day for action, and today is the time to start!
